Dollar Tree May 27, 2010

So a few weeks ago I went to a “Dollar Tree” by the Safeway that just opened up.  I don’t know exactly when it opened up, but overall I was impressed.  I am not always excited about dollar stores because the quality of the items can be questionable, so I might go in once a year or so.   And yes, there were some sub-standard products I wouldn’t ever buy, but there was also some merchandise that was of value.  They carried some Crest and different name-brand detergents.  I would go there to buy balloons, gift bags, and SOME storage containers.  I think it’s a great place to go buy gifts for a child’s birthday or fun little holiday celebration gifts.  Their inventory changes every week, so you can’t count on everything being there all the time.  I bought 7 items, 4 of which were for storage, a “Cars” puzzle for the kids, “Goody” poneytail holders, and a package of chocolate graham cookies.  Fun and good value!  So friends, if you are in the area, I would stop by.
